QuantumOps is made of modules that an administrator can switch on or off. This page lists every module that Module Management shows: what it does, whether it starts on, which sidebar links and header buttons it controls, and where it is documented. What is QuantumOps? gives the wider picture of how the parts fit together.
How modules start
A module that has no saved choice starts on. Three kinds of module start off instead:
- Call Recording & Transcription, which does nothing until it is set up.
- Any module that needs an entitlement from TechPulse. Module Management shows these as LOCKED until TechPulse grants them.
- Any add-on module, which is licensed separately. Timeclock & Payroll is the add-on today.
Who turns modules on
An administrator turns modules on and off in Module Management. Two kinds of module need TechPulse as well: the modules that start locked, and StackJack Integration, which needs server-side setup that TechPulse completes after you switch it on.
The modules
The tables follow the bundles that Module Management groups its cards under. The category is the module's technical area, which Module Management shows in each card's detail panel.

What each module switches on
The sidebar links, header buttons and tabs below disappear when the module is off, and a few screens show a notice instead of their content. Roles still apply when the module is on: a sidebar link shows only to people whose role can open the screen, and Roles and access shows who can open each screen.
When a module is off
Switching a module off removes its links and buttons, but a few of its screens can still be opened by address. Those screens explain why they are empty instead of showing an error: the Customer Success dashboard says "The Customer Success module is turned off for this tenant.", and the QBR Studio screens say QBR Studio is turned off. Documentation sources do not sync while the Documentation module is off.
Modules that switch nothing today
Module Management lists seven modules that switch nothing today: six in the Core bundle and Q-Notice Engine in the Automation bundle. Turning one of them off does not change the feature it is named after. Each capability is documented, and controlled, elsewhere:
