Signing in
How to sign in and out of QuantumOps through your organisation's sign-in service, where you land afterwards, when a change to your roles applies, and which parts of QuantumOps ask you to sign in.

You sign in to QuantumOps through your organisation's sign-in service. QuantumOps does not ask for a password on its own screens. This page is for everyone who uses the web application.
To find out which sign-in service your instance uses, ask an Administrator: the subtitle of Team Management names it. What each sign-in service offers lists how the services differ.
Before you start: your account must be active and a member of your organisation. If you were just invited or your instance was just created, follow Activating your account first.
- Open the address of your instance in your browser. If you do not have it, ask an Administrator.
- If you are not signed in, you are normally taken straight to the sign-in service. If the application shows a Log in link instead, select it.
- Enter your credentials and complete your second sign-in factor, as the sign-in service asks.
- QuantumOps opens on the first screen that applies to you. The next section lists the three possibilities.
While the application checks your session you may briefly see Verifying authorization…. The addresses /authentication/login and /authentication/logout start sign-in and sign-out; while they hand you over to the sign-in service they show Logging in... or Logging out.... Nothing needs doing on those screens.
Where you land after signing in
The address / is not a screen of its own. It decides where to send you.
Being sent to the wizard instead of Home is not an error. It means setup has not been marked complete for the instance.
When role changes apply
Your roles are read when you sign in. A change an Administrator makes applies at your next sign-in. A session that is already open can keep the roles it started with until the sign-in service refreshes it, so to pick up a change at once, sign out and sign in again.
Sign out
Choose Log out in the header. On a phone, the header folds its buttons into a menu: open More actions and choose Log out. Signing out ends your session and takes you back to the sign-in service.
What needs a QuantumOps sign-in
Adding QuantumOps tabs to HaloPSA explains how those tabs are set up.
If your account is not a member of the organisation
If your sign-in works but your account is not a member of the organisation, QuantumOps shows a message instead of the application. You may see Organization Access Required, or a message that you do not have access to this tenant, followed by a sign-out. Ask an Administrator to invite you or to add you to the organisation. Access denied and sign-in errors lists each message and what to do.
