Tenant settings is the one page where an administrator keeps the details of the organisation that owns this QuantumOps: its billing name and address, the connection to HaloPSA, the AI providers and models, and the communication policy for AI replies. The page is titled Tenant Configuration, and its address is /UpdateTenant.

Before you start: you need the Administrator role. Nobody else can open this page.

Open Tenant settings

  • Select the gear icon in the page header (its tooltip is Settings). On a phone, open More actions in the header and select Settings.
  • If your setup is finished but no HaloPSA address is saved, QuantumOps opens this page for you after you sign in, so you can enter the connection. See Your HaloPSA connection.

Back, at the top right of the page, returns you to Home.

The sections of the page

At the bottom of the page, Open Q-Director Settings takes you to the settings for ticket analysis, triage and the other Q-Director features. They are a separate page. See Q-Director Settings.

Save your changes

Each section has its own Save button, and Communication Policy has Save policy. Keep these points in mind:

  • A Save button stores everything you have entered on the page, not only the entries in its own section. A change you made in another section is saved with it.
  • Save policy saves only the communication policy.
  • The HaloPSA Integration section asks for the Agent URL, the Client ID and the Client Secret before it saves. AI Provider Configuration asks for a key for every provider that is switched on.
  • A message confirms each save, for example that the tenant information was saved.
  • If a save works but a warning says the settings could not be synchronised, the save itself succeeded. Contact support if the warning keeps coming back.

Tenant Information

  1. Open Tenant Information.
  2. Fill in the fields below.
  3. Select Save.
FieldWhat to enter
Billing NameThe company or organisation name for billing. Use your legal business name.
Description AddressA friendly name for the address, such as Main Office.
Address Line 1, Address Line 2The street address of the business.
City, State/Region, ZIP/Postal CodeThe rest of the address.
CountryUnited States, Canada, European Union or Asia Pacific.
AI Consumption Limit ($)A dollar figure for monthly AI spend, or 0 for none. See the next section for what it does.
Display Time ZoneThe time zone QuantumOps uses to show dates and times on ticket dashboards, chat analytics, timeclock reports, the documentation sync status and the schedules of routines in Slack and Teams. QuantumOps stores times in UTC and converts them for display. A routine takes the zone when it is created, so changing the zone does not move routines that already exist. When none is set, it uses Eastern time.

What the spend figures do

QuantumOps has no screen for your plan or your invoices. Billing uses the Billing Name and address on this page, so keep them current. For billing questions, use Get help in the page header.

Two figures on QuantumOps screens look like spending limits:

FigureWhere you set itWhat it does
AI Consumption Limit ($)Tenant Information. The setup wizard calls the same figure Monthly Limit.QuantumOps records it. It does not stop AI calls.
Monthly AI Budget (USD)AI Provider Configuration.Drives the budget banner on AI Usage Analytics, which shows whether the month is on track or over the budget. It does not stop AI calls.

Nothing on these screens stops AI calls when a figure is reached. What does stop them is a limit at the AI provider. When a provider reports that your account has reached its own billing limit, QuantumOps pauses AI processing, the header shows Paused, and an e-mail with the subject "Action Required: AI Processing Paused" goes to the primary contact. Add funds with the provider, then resume processing from the header. See Pausing and resuming AI processing.

Vector Store Configuration

This section is for information only. It shows Managed Vector Store, with the note Fully Managed: the store that powers semantic search needs no configuration from you.

Things that are not on this page

  • Team access. Tenant settings has no multi-user setting. Manage your team from the people icon in the header (Multi-user management). See Team Management.
  • Analysis and triage settings. They live in Q-Director Settings.

Other administration screens

These screens are separate from Tenant Configuration. Administrators use them to look after people and modules.
